Entertainment 2.0 #389: Forever*

Entertainment 2.0

The guys are back after a wonderful week off to celebrate Thanksgiving. The first news story actually comes from a listener. He’s developed an app called mpconverter to help ease the transition from Windows Media Center to Kodi or Plex. Microsoft’s Edge browser is the first to support Netflix in 4k. Microsoft is running a promotion that could net you four free months of Groove Music.  Windows 10 PCs will soon be able to stream Xbox One games straight to an Oculus Rift VR headset. It’s probably not what you’re thinking though. One small company is trying to sell a low-end Windows 10 Mobile phone in a unique way. Plex has some cool new photo features, and AT&T has launched their DirecTV Now streaming service.
