  • Glad you asked about internet connection from house during the interview. I live on the edge of town in the second largest city of my state. The closest fiber or cable Internet provide stops service less that a mile away. DSL speed max out at 320k. Nothing faster is available. Thanks to 1970’s wire in the ground and provider with no incentive to upgrade. Data caps on wireless don’t help. So in the cloud, nope. And what if vender drops support. Smart home for me means updates and optional cloud services.
