This week on Entertainment 2.0 Josh is once again joined by James, and Craig. There weren’t any emails or voicemails from listeners, but that was okay because we had a fantastic guest join us. We had the pleasure of discussing home theater PC basics with Andrew Van Til. Andy is no stranger to the show. We’ve had him join us before. Andy’s article led a lot of great discussions about hard drives, power supplies, networking components, and memory. We also discussed some of the more contentious topics in the HTPC universe, such as: whether anti-virus products should be installed on an HTPC, whether to use a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system, and whether or not a computer is really an “investment.” As always, it was great having Andy on the show. Thanks again to him for joining us.

In this podcast several mentioned using Windows native tools to link with UPS devices for a shutdown. How do you set that up? I can’t find it online anywhere.
I have W7 Ultimate.
