Typically the summer months are rather slow for tech news, and we expected that to be even more true now that we’re past the Xbox reveal, E3, and the Build conference, but the news just keeps coming! Josh and Richard talked about some breaking changes in the Windows 8.1 preview for Windows Media Center users, and some of the changes to the Photos app in the new OS along with a helpful detail for testing Miracast devices. Josh also might not have been wrong after all with regards to his Build prediction, and Microsoft used that conference to announce some great new entertainment-focused Windows Phone apps. Microsoft also rolled out an Xbox Music web app, and Time Warner is bringing 300 live TV channels to the Xbox 360 while Don Mattrick is heading out the door. If you’re not listening live you’re missing a lot of fun, so make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of episode 235 on Tuesday, July 9th at 8:00pm ET!
