For episode 147 of the Entertainment 2.0 podcast Josh Pollard had the opportunity to sit down with Microsoft Windows Home Server MVP Dave McCabe, and host of the BYOB podcast, Mike Faucher, to talk about Windows Home Server 2011. Richard Gunther wasn’t able to join the show, but there was enough knowledge oozing from the guests that I think it made up for it! In addition to being a Microsoft MVP, Dave McCabe hosts a podcast called The Home Server Show where they discuss the latest news around Windows Home Server every single week. Mike Faucher, no stranger to the show, hosts the Build Your Own Box podcast where they discuss computer hardware and quite frequently discuss their own Windows Home Server builds. These two guys were able to explain to us what the newest version of Windows Home Server brings to the table, why you should use it, and some recommend hardware ideas if you would like to build your own server. Thanks to Dave and Mike for coming on the show! Make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording next week at 8pm ET!
