Entertainment 2.0 #136 : Haupauge CableCARD and Streaming Media

After a pretty tricky listener question the guys moved onto the biggest news of the week. That of course was the Hauppauge CableCARD tuner and its announced pricing and availability. After that Richard and Josh discussed using Piptube to watch Youtube Leanback in Windows Media Center. Spotify opened its doors to the United States last week, so Richard found a Windows Media Center plugin called Songler that supports it, plus Last.FM and Youtube. Josh then discussed a new beta version of MCEBuddy which is an automated tool for removing commercials and converting recorded TV files to different video formats. Thethe Media Center Quick Tip of the Week was provided by a listener email where he described changing the Windows time server.
