The variety of racing this weekend is great, but the track variation, and amount of TV coverage, is not. NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, and the Grand-Am Rolex series are all at Daytona this weekend. MotoGP and the IndyCar series are also racing on Sunday. So while there are five different series all in action this weekend, the only series to have its qualifying or practice session televised is the Sprint Cup series. If your DVR is filling up from all of the action over the last few weeks that might not be such a bad thing though.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series gets the racing kicked off for a night race at Daytona on Friday on ESPN. The Sprint Cup drivers are also racing under the lights Saturday night on TNT after the Grand-Am Rolex series finishes the Daytona 250 on the road course.
Sunday morning you can catch the Catalunyan Grand Prix on SPEED and the IndyCar Camping World Grand Prix from Watkins Glen at 3:30 on ESPN.
