Entertainment 2.0 #420: Old and Crotchety

Entertainment 2.0

Once again, Plex is back in the news. This time with an update for their desktop, or should we say HTPC, app: Plex Media Player. It’s got a brand new look and feel, but will it solve all the issues Plex is hoping for? A couple of often requested features are coming soon to the Xbox, while the console gets a deep discount. Mixer fans can now take their broadcasts mobile with the Mixer Create app. Microsoft has released final details about the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update including the release date. The DMZ also has officially launched its newest podcast too. It’s called Story Players, and you can check out the first episode now.
