Entertainment 2.0 #187 : How Richard Got His Start Back

Entertainment 2.0 #187 : How Richard Got His Start BackIt’s just Josh and Richard this week, but that’s okay because there was a plenty to cover. The two guys have always disagreed about whether Windows 8 should have a Start button. This week they discuss a way for Richard to get his Start button back, but for Josh this hack means so much more as it brings with it another very useful function for home theater PC users. They also talked about a way to make the Green Button on a Media Center remote work as a Windows 8 Start button. Among the other news is a Windows Phone app for managing a Windows Server 2012 Essentials box, what Netflix’s Q2 earnings seem to indicate, and a competitively priced Google TV box from Vizio. Richard also filled us in on a new feature he’s using with his Media Center, and Josh discussed his latest adventure in home automation. Make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of the next episode of the show next Tuesday, July 31st at 8pm ET!
