Jimmy Rollins and the Phillies look to get back to the World Series.
It’s a busy week on the sports front, with every major sport except the NBA getting some screen time, including national team soccer. In baseball, the League Championship Series start Thursday in LA. There’s also college football on starting Tuesday night and right through to the weekend. Finally, college hoops gets going with Midnight Madness Friday night. ESPNU has coverage at 9 p.m. and ESPN2 joins the party at 11:30 p.m. Not sure if this will be all in HD, but it’s fun nonetheless.

SPOTLIGHT
The Major League Baseball playoffs might occupy this space for a couple weeks. The Phillies and Rockies still have to decide things in the NL. Game 4 is Monday in Colorado and game 5, if needed, is Tuesday in Philly, both on TBS (1080i). The League Championship series kick of Thursday, where the Dodgers await the Philly/Colorado winner. The Yankees and Angels start Friday in New York. Times to be determined for both series, the games will be on FOX (720p).
