After a couple of weeks off, we’ve got an interesting mix of news to discuss. Plex is updating their server software, and if you use their DVR you need to update right away. Samsung thinks you should be running a virus scanner on your smart television. SiliconDust has brought their HDHomeRun app to Roku finally. NBC has combined many of their separate apps into one. That sounds great on the surface, but it has one major downside too. On the gaming side, Microsoft may have cut their plans in half for next-gen consoles.
