Entertainment 2.0 #135 : Netflix Hike, Remote Potato HD, and Remotes

PrintEpisode 135 of the Entertainment 2.0 podcast makes it three episodes in a row where things have gone smoothly! This week Josh Pollard was joined by fellow DMZ writers Richard Gunther, and joining the show after a long absence was James Montemagno!  As usual the show started off with two great pieces of listener feedback.  Once the guys made it to the topics they started off covering Richard’s review of Remote Potato HD for iPad. Then Josh talked about the new firmware that is being rolled out for Cisco tuning adapters. After that all three of the guys got a little upset about Netflix’s’ rate increases. They cooled off as James shared his excitement about the Boxee remote, well, until Josh crushed his dreams. After that Josh shared some details about some upcoming changes to the Windows Experts Community that were inspired by user feedback. They wrapped up the show by quickly discussing Kinect functionality for Windows 7 Media Center, and then by discussing the latest news around Tivo. Next time join Josh and the guys for all the fun in the live chat room, on Tuesday nights at 8pm ET.
