For the last three days if you tried to watch anything on Netflix through Windows Media Center you would receive an Authorization Failure error message that stated: “Our apologies – we could not authenticate this request.” Apparently the error was also affecting some other devices, but users were able to watch their favorite shows and movies through a web browser. The good news is that the problem is now fixed. My three year old is now able to watch Backyardagains without me needing to grab a keyboard and mouse!
