Entertainment 2.0 #130 : Windows 8, Ceton Promotion and Microsoft at E3

PrintFor  episode 130 of the Entertainment 2.0 Podcast Josh Pollard and Craig Scholle were only joined by the those who joined the live chat. Fortunately that also means that the live chat and stream were actually working! Craig built a new podcaster machine and it was working quite well. It was a pretty big news week in terms of Microsoft entertainment technology. Last week at the D9 conference Microsoft gave us our first glimpse of Windows 8, and it’s a fairly radical change! What will it mean for Windows Media Center? After that the guys discussed the latest promotion from Ceton which dropped the price of the InfiniTV 4 to $299! Microsoft also had a lot of big announcements at E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo. While most of their news revolved around their video game offerings, they also announced a lot of interesting news for video and TV on the Xbox 360.  Next time join the guys for all the fun in the live chat room, on Tuesday nights at 8pm ET.
