Entertainment 2.0 #444: This is Weird

Entertainment 2.0

As is so often the case, this episode starts with listeners helping other listeners. Many people wrote in with great tips for ripping Blu-ray discs. The biggest news of the week was the Microsoft reorganization that split Windows into two divisions and left Terry Myerson looking for a new gig. It’s happening right as the company is about to release the next major version of Windows.

ESPN is about to release a standalone streaming service, but it may not be the package you’re looking for. Amazon is also planning to kill off their music storage service. Microsoft is also hosting one of their biggest sales of the year for Xbox games and more.
