Entertainment 2.0 #414: The 2017 Guide Data Crisis

Entertainment 2.0

We’ve long said that Windows Media Center won’t be truly dead until the electronic program guide data dries up. While we don’t think it’s gone forever, the latest guide data issue is one of the longest lasting issues to ever impact the community. There is one small amount of good news for Media Center fans though. Also, the Xbox One is the only way to enjoy Atmos audio from Netflix. The ability to gift digital Xbox games is coming soon. The best version of Windows Phone comes to the end of official support, and PlayStation Vue gets a price increase.
