Entertainment 2.0 #379: Xbox App Explosion

Entertainment 2.0

Josh is flying solo this week to bring you the latest Microsoft entertainment technology news. Kicking it all of this week is the release of the HDHomeRun app on the Xbox One. With it comes live and recorded TV to our favorite game console. Phonos, the third party Sonos controller app, has also been released for the Xbox. There’s a new updated build for Xbox Preview members, and Windows 10 Anniversary Update is now shipping for Windows 10 Mobile devices. Two of this fall’s biggest games are getting open betas this month, and Microsoft has acquired a real-time, interactive, competitor to Twitch.TV.

Join us most weeks for the live recording of Entertainment 2.0 on Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm ET!
