$2 Video Game Rentals from Redbox Begins Next Week

Video Game Rentals from Redbox Begins Next WeekStarting next week you’ll be able to grab a video game from your local Redbox kiosk. The service has been in limited markets since August of 2009, but starting June 17th video game rentals will be available nationwide from more than five gazillion 21,000 kiosks. Redbox became popular by offering $1 per day DVD rentals via kiosks that seem to be located in every single grocery store, Wal-Mart, and gas station across the country. Then they added Blu-rays which can be had at most kiosks now for $1.50 per day. Video game rentals will be $2 per day. The price isn’t necesarily the greatest when compared to longer-term rentals from places like Blockbuster. That is, of course, if you can find a Blockbuster near you. Games will be available for XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and Wii.
