Here’s the rundown of this week’s show:

After last week’s Midwest Snowpocalypse forced us to take a week off, we’re back this week with no Netflix news at all. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much news elsewhere so we open the show talking Super Bowl XLV ads. We follow that up with discussion of Best Buy’s new Buy Back program that looks to be a pretty bad deal, along with the Big Yellow Ticket’s attempt to play the 28-day rental delay against Nextflix and Red Box (that’s the only Netflix, we swear).  Finally, in a bit of industry news, Audiovox is buying Klipsh (and along with it the Mirage upscale brand).

After we talk combo and Blu-ray sales, Matt reviews Kansas City Confidential on Blu-ray.

Blu-ray releases for Feb. 15. |  Geektonic’s premieres and specials

Phil talks up a new Discovery Channel show called Flying Wild Alaska, a great watch if you enjoy the likes of Ice Road Truckers/Dangerous Catch along with beautiful Alaskan scenery in glorious HD.

On the deals side, Save $10 on Bambi Blu-ray if you own the VHS or DVD (or visit this link), pick up WWII in HD on Blu-ray for $16.99, or grab a copy of Spears and Munsil for $24.99 along with a free Bluscenes disc.
