New Version of Heatwave Weather Plugin for Windows Media Center

HeatwaveMCExtended, over at TheGreenButton, has updated his fantastic Heatwave weather plugin for Windows Media Center. There are a slew of new features and options, and the application now officially supports Windows 7 in both 32 and 64-bit flavors.

Heatwave is one of my favorite Windows Media Center plugins, because it is fast, very easy to use, informative and it looks great! It’s nice to see such a useful plugin get so many updates!

Recent Changes:

  • The forecasts on the main page now animate from day to night mode
  • The forecast for the current day now includes the supposed chance of rain…
  • Multi-language support
  • Sunrise/Set – in response to a number of requests, the sunrise and sunset times are now displayed
  • Moon Phase – as above
  • Editable location names – you can now edit the display name for locations.

Check out MCExtended’s thread for more details and to download it.
