Unfortunately some last minute travel meant that Richard couldn’t record this week, but Josh is here with a full slate of the week’s Microsoft entertainment technology news. It looks as though Windows 10 and the Xbox will soon be able to buy and rent 4k Ultra HD movies from the Movies and TV app. Plex has a ton of news this week. They’ve made their desktop app, Plex Media Player, available for free to everyone, and they’ve released a plugin for Kodi. They’ve also added OneDrive (and a couple others) as storage solutions for Plex Cloud. One of our favorite features from Xbox Music on the Xbox One has finally returned in Groove Music. Josh gives you tips on scoring a free Kinect adapter for your Xbox One S. The Microsoft Store has some nice holiday deals, and Microsoft Rewards has a great discount on Windows and Xbox Store gift cards.
Join us most weeks for the live recording of Entertainment 2.0 on Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm ET!
