This week Josh is joined by Rob H. of the AV Rant Podcast. He’s an expert in all things audio/visual, but he’s here to discuss why high dynamic range (HDR) video is even more important than 4k resolution. The two discuss what HDR is, how the standards are progressing, and most importantly, when is the right time to buy an HDR TV. Before digging into all of that they look at the recent news including JRiver looking to expand to supporting protected CableCARD in their home theater PC software. It’s a long show, but one that you’re sure to learn a lot from!
