Windows Phone owners often get ignored when companies introduce mobile apps and support for their products. It was much of the same for Nest products, except thanks to some independent developers for the platform. One of the more popular third-party apps Nestle, is now back, rebranded, using Nest’s official API.
The new app, Cozy, uses Nest’s API to monitor and control multiple Nest devices in multiple homes. Rebuilt from the ground up, Cozy sports an updated design and user experience, including enhanced Cortana control for your thermostat. The app also shows the status of all your Protect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Live tiles allow you to monitor your devices without even opening the app.
Cozy is ad supported with an in-app 99¢ purchase to eliminate ads. It is available in the Windows Phone Store.
