Watch the Next Windows 10 Announcement Live

windows-10-wideLast fall Microsoft had a small event to launch Windows 10 to the world. It was supposed to have focused on the enterprise. While it didn’t entirely, at least they released a beta of Windows 10 publically via the new Windows Insider Program. We’ve seen incremental updates since the initial release, but Microsoft is now about to unveil the next big set of features. We expect Microsoft to show how Windows 10 will operate on tablet devices, as well as phones. We’re sure they’ll announce the next public beta release of the new OS, and we’re hoping they’ll be releasing a preview for Windows Phones also.

This event is being held next week, and it’s expected to focus on the consumer side of Windows 10. Unlike last fall’s event, this time Microsoft will be live streaming the announcement. It starts at 9am PT on Wednesday, January 21. You’ll find the live video stream at www.microsoft.com/windows10story. If you can’t watch it live they’ll be posting the recording later in the day. Then Josh and Richard will be live streaming the Entertainment 2.0 podcast at 8pm ET that night. Make sure to come back, and join the conversation in the chat room, to hear their breakdown of the day’s event.
