Josh and Richard are back this week to cover the latest news in the Microsoft entertainment technology space. After some great listener feedback Josh wonders how people are using external hard drives with the Windows Media Center PCs. If you’re using an external drive please comment, write in, or leave a voicemail letting us know how it’s working for you. The Google vs. Microsoft battle for a worthwhile YouTube app for Windows Phone has regressed, and rumor has it that Microsoft wants HTC to put Windows Phone on their Android devices. EA is showing off a SmartGlass app for Madden 25 on the Xbox One, and VLC may be nearing a release of their app for Windows 8. Dell has unveiled two Windows tablets that look great, and CBS has updated their Windows 8 app to include full episodes of most of their shows. They wrap the show up by looking at a new study that shows increased PC usage for entertainment viewing, especially amongst younger adults. If you’re not listening live you’re missing a lot of fun, so make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of episode 248 on Tuesday, October 15th at 8:00pm ET!
