This week on Entertainment 2.0 Josh is once again joined by James, and Craig. We decided to hold the emails and voicemails for next as once again we were joined by an extremely knowledgeable guest. This week the topic was building your own home theater PC. Mike is the host of the BYOB Podcast (Build Your Own Box) hosted at the Home Server Show. He walked us through a really solid mid-level home theater pc build that was based around Intel’s Core i3 Clarkdale platform. We also talked about other alternatives, including whether to build on Clarkdale now, or to wait for the re-release of Sandy Bridge. There was much more to talk about than just processors though. We also discussed hard drives, memory, power supplys, cases, and fans. It was great having someone on who knows so much about the technology, and we can’t wait to have him back. If you missed the show live, remember you can always listen live, and join in the chat, on Tuesday nights at 8:30 PM EST.

Fantastic show! I would like to see a couple shows focusing more in-depth on different pieces of hardware and proper configurations, such as video cards, mobo settings, etc.
You gonna post the exact specs he picked out?
