If you were outside last week during the holiday weekend it’s time to get back indoors this coming weekend to watch the plethora of motorsports goodness this coming weekend! Saturday’s schedule may be a little light on action, but if you record everything SPEED has to offer on Friday you should be set!
SPEED gets things started right with Formula 1 practice for the British Grand Prix bright and early Friday morning, followed by practice and qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide drivers throughout the rest of the afternoon. You can also catch the Nationwide drivers under the lights on ESPN at 8pm for the Dollar General 300 from Chicagoland.
Wake up early with SPEED again on Saturday to watch Formula 1 qualifying at 8am, then perhaps catch up on anything you missed the prior day, because the only other event on Saturday is the NASCAR Sprint Cup race from Chicagoland which doesn’t start until 7:30pm.
Sunday morning gets started with F1’s feeder series, GP2, at 10:30am on SPEED. Then hop over to Fox at noon for Formula 1 British Grand Prix. If you still haven’t had your fill of oval racing from the previous two nights flip to SPEED at 2pm for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 200. The weekend is capped off with my favorite series, the American Le Mans Series as they race around Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City at 4:30pm on SPEED.
