After two weeks of dead air on Tuesday night, the ESPN family saves us with baseball and football this week. The NHL season kicks off Friday (Vs. 3 p.m. 1080i) when Detroit and St. Louis play the first of two games from Sweden. The WNBA finals start Tuesday on “The Deuce” and Major League Baseball wraps up its last week of the regular season. ESPN will choose games that have playoff implications to air. UPDATED – ESPN will be in Detroit for the Tigers final series’ against Minnesota and Chicago.
And don’t forget to check out the HD Sportsman as part of the “Seen in HD” podcast every week on the Digital Media Zone.
