Last week was college football’s turn in the spotlight, this week the national eye turns to the NFL when the 2009 season kicks off on NBC Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. as the Super Bowl champion Steelers host Tennessee (1080i). Lots of tennis this week as well as the U.S. Open cruises to a weekend of finals. The pennant race is alive and well and Tampa Bay travels to New York with it’s wildcard hopes likely on the line. And don’t forget to check out the HD Sportsman as part of the “Seen in HD” podcast every week on the Digital Media Zone.
