Today is the start of preorders for Windows 7. From now until July 11th, US residents can order upgrade versions of Home Premium and Professional for 50% off. It’s a good deal. Especially if you have multiple PCs in your home like I do. Unfortunately, there’s no price deal on Windows 7 Ultimate, but if you need it, you can still preorder.
Certain countries in Europe will receive the 50% off pricing starting July 15 and it’ll run until August 15th. While I’m not sure which retailers will be offering the savings in Europe, both Amazon and Best Buy are carrying the deal here in the US.
