Josh and Richard are back for another big week of Microsoft entertainment technology. The biggest news of the week is of course the release of Windows Phone 8.1. The guys both have it on their phones and they go in depth on the media features of the new operating system, plus some time spent on the other big features. Media Browser and VLC both saw their Windows 8 apps updated. The Xbox One Titanfall bundle can now be had for the price of a PlayStation 4 in the UK right as a new system update for the console is released. Microsoft releases Office 365 Personal edition, and Josh and Richard have both been watching some new shows. If you’re not listening live you’re missing a lot of fun, so make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of episode 274 on Tuesday, April 22nd at 8:00pm ET!

Josh and Richard….
Great show guys as always… have been catching up on the last couple of episodes. Some comments….
– Podcast speed playback defaults would be great… I listen to you guys at 2x always.
– Agree with Josh on The Americans, it is one of my favorite shows but I am a child of the 80s so part of the fun is to see all the old tech from that period… an Intellivision playing Astrosmash makes an appearance in Season 2.
– Thanks for the recommendation on Orphan Black, love it. Drilling through the episodes on the FireTV.
– PLEX runs really quick on the Amazon FireTV using that quad CPU and 2 GB of memory; would love to see it run on the Xbox One (and a My Movies and Ceton Tuner app would be great too, right?)
