T-Mobile to Launch Their First Windows 10 Mobile Phone

T-Mobile hasn’t had a new Windows Phone in a long time, and apparently Microsoft didn’t even approach them when they were releasing the Lumia 950 and 950XL. So if you’re a T-Mobile Windows Phone fan, you’ve probably been waiting to replace your phone for a long time. Soon T-Mobile will have a new phone for you to check out, and it’s from Alcatel OneTouch.

Alcatel OneTouch’s new device, the Fierce XL, isn’t exactly going to set the world on fire. It’s a pretty low-end phone, but at least low-end Windows Mobile devices have better specs than what they used to offer. The full spec list is below, but you’ll be happy to hear that it has far more memory in it than most of the Windows Phones we’re used to seeing. With its 2GB of RAM on board you shouldn’t see too many “resuming” screens, and most games should be playable.

  • 5.5″ 720p Display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 – Quad-core 1.1GHz
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB Storage with microSD Expansion to 32GB
  • 2,500 mAh Battery
  • 8 Megapixel Rear Camera. 2 Megapixel Front Camera
  • LTE, VoLTE, and Wi-Fi Calling

T-Mobile didn’t announce a release date or price for the phone, but we expect to see it in the coming weeks and to be priced around $140 off-contract.
