There’s good and news and bad news about this week’s episode. The good news is that it’s shorter than usual. The bad news is that it’s short because Richard couldn’t join Josh. Fortunately there was plenty of Microsoft entertainment technology news to cover. There’s a new version of Emby that has live TV functionality built right in. The Plex app for Xbox One has received some welcome updates. There’s an interesting new Xbox One bundle launching this fall for elite gamers. The FCC has also released a document for comments with options for how to replace the aging CableCARD standard.
