It’s the week of the Xbox One launch, so as is to be expected, this week’s show is packed with news and information about Microsoft’s next-generation entertainment console. Josh and Richard are extremely excited to be getting their’s on Friday, but they did manage to talk about a few new items that weren’t related to the Xbox. First up there is a plethora of Windows devices, both phone and tablet, launching this week. You can score some great deals on them if you’re willing to go on contract. Windows 8 also has a Flipboard app now, and the platform will be getting Slingbox very soon. Those items bookend all of the Xbox talk. There is Skydrive and Harmony support coming for the Xbox. Smartglass apps are already available for it. There is one piece of bad news though, it won’t support Twitch streaming on day one.
