UPDATE – This deal got even sweeter. Using a series of coupons, you can get both UP and Monster’s Inc. from Target for just $10.98, or even less with some mail in rebates if you’re really creative. Check out the full post on The Frugal Find for the full details.
It’s not too often that you can buy a new release Blu-ray for under 10 bucks.
It’s even more rare that you can get the most anticipated Blu-ray release of the year for less than a pair of Lincolns.
Until November 17, you can get Disney/Pixar’s UP for as little as $9.99 with the use of this $10 off coupon and a trip to a local retailer. This is a great deal. It’s a two-disc Blu-ray with a digital copy and a DVD copy. Here’s how you can do it:
First, head to the link and print off the coupon. It’s a manufacturer’s coupon like you’d use at a grocery store, so most brick and mortar stores should accept it.
Some important notes on printing the coupon:
- You will have to download a coupon printer app in order to print the coupon. It’s a small app and downloads in seconds. If your wife is link mine, she prints dozens of coupons a week from the Web using a plugin like this, so you might already have it and not realize it.
- I wasn’t able to get it working in Firefox, so dust off that IE browser for this one.
- Make sure ahead of time that your PC is pointing to the right default printer. The app doesn’t ask you to choose a printer, it just tries to print to your computer’s default printer. If you have a work laptop at home and your default printer is at the office, you could be out of luck because once it tries to print, it likely won’t allow you to print again from that same machine.
As long as you pay attention to those tips, it’s a quick and easy process and more than worth it. Once you have the coupon, head to any retailer to buy the movie. Best Buy has it for $19.99 (UPDATE – the in-store price for Best Buy is $23.99, so if you go there be sure to ask them to match the bestbuy.com price.) right now, Wal-Mart for $19.96, Target for $26.99.
And while the coupon doesn’t expire until November 17, you can only print the coupon until November 14.
