Quick on the heels of unveiling the new Archos 9pctablet, the company isn’t resting. They’ve just pushed out 3 new portable media players and while I love my Zune, they don’t look to bad. Not only that but at the listed prices, you’re going to save some money if you go this route.
First up is the Archos 3vision. Featuring a 3” full surface touch screen, this isn’t a bad looking device. With only 8GB of storage, this is strictly a music player and photo viewer but for under $100, its not too bad. The device also comes loaded with a voice and audio recorder, a stopwatch and a calendar.
Coming down the list, next up is the Archos2vision. Lower priced and featuring a non-touch 2” screen, the device still comes with 8GB of internal storage and is SDHC compatible which means you can add at least another 8GB of space for your collection.
Last up is the Archos Clipper. This is the company’s answer to the Shuffle. A small, no screen device, it comes with 2GB of storage and a size worth of hiding somewhere. It’s a lot cheaper than the shuffle as well.
Head over to Archos to check out all of the new gear the company is pushing out. Hopefully we can get in touch and get some reviews soon!
