Entertainment 2.0 #210 – CES Bonus

Entertainment 2.0 #210 - CES BonusWhile a lot of fun was had by Josh and Richard in Las Vegas during CES 2013 they both agree that there wasn’t anything more fun than the listener meet-up they held Wednesday night in conjunction with Dave McCabe of the Home Server Show. About a dozen people showed up after the show floor closed including Ian Dixon from The Digital Lifestyle, Jeremy Hammer from Ceton, a trio of Engadget writers, more Ceton employees, a couple of guys from Missing Remote, but most importantly a few listeners who weren’t bloggers or podcasters. We weren’t sure how many non-press listeners might show up, so to get a few was fantastic! Of course it didn’t take long before Josh was shoving a microphone in the faces of everyone who showed up. The show floor had been open for two days at that point, so he wanted to find out what everyone thought of the event. Those brief interviews make up the bulk of this episode of Entertainment 2.0, but the next morning Josh and Richard realized that they hadn’t included their own thoughts about the show yet. After you hear from everyone else Josh and Richard recap the show as a whole and include their favorite moments from the week. Thanks again to everyone who came!  If you’re not listening live you’re missing a lot of fun, so make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of episode 211 Tuesday, January 15th at 9:00pm ET!
