The World Series continues this weekend with games three and four in Philadelphia. Saturday night’s college football games on ABC and ESPN2 each feature matchups of top 25 teams, and for the Irish fans out there, Notre Dame plays in primetime this week when they host Washington State at 7:30 on NBC. It’s a good thing the primetime games are good, because it’s a bit of a snooze-fest in the afternoon on Saturday.
SPOTLIGHT
USC at Oregon, Saturday at 8 p.m. (ESPN2 or ABC). Both teams are 6-1. Oregon is 4-0 in the PAC-10 while USC is 3-1. USC is the highest-rated one-loss team in the most recent BCS standings, so there’s a lot riding on this game for both teams.
