Story Players #017 – Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

story_players_logo_350Last month saw us playing Virginia, a fairly light-hearted and short story through Virginia in the 1980s. This month, Josh and Joe are trecking into the depths of Hel during the ancient times of Vikings. They are playing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The setting is vastly different from the previous game, and so is the length. Hellblade took the guys around seven hours to finish. The story follows Senua, a Celtic woman traveling through Hel to try to save the soul of her deceased beloved. If you haven’t played it yet, you’re invited to listen to the first few minutes of the episode. In it, the guys give a brief introduction to the game and discuss the things they wish they had known prior to playing it.

During the show, we mentioned that the developer created a site to help those affected by the game. You can find that at HellbladeHelp.info.
