Microsoft continues to surprise everyone this week. This time Josh and Richard are here to discuss Microsoft’s announcement to release Windows 8.1 RTM to developers and IT professionals via MSDN and TechNet. That’s great news, but it brought with it some small problems that need to be resolved. Microsoft also broadened the Xbox Music ecosystem by bring it to iOS and Android. Invitations have also been sent out for a Surface event, but we think we may already know about everything that is to be announced. Fortunately, most of it is pretty exciting! Also, Derek Flickinger, the man who literally wrote the book on HDMI, joins the guys briefly to discuss what the announcement of HDMI 2.0 actually means for consumers. If you’re not listening live you’re missing a lot of fun, so make sure to join Josh and Richard for the live recording of episode 244 on Tuesday, September 17th at 8:00pm ET!
