Thank GOODNESS for football’s return. It looks pretty bleak otherwise. We get treated to some nice international friendly soccer Tuesday, but there’s a chance it might be in SD (though I can’t see why since it’s being played at the home of the New York Jets/Giants). The PGA’s final major is this weekend on CBS as well. One note, it didn’t make it into the listings but there is coverage of the Little League World Series Regional Finals all week on the ESPN networks and ESPN3. This is NOT the official Little League World Series, that kicks off on Aug. 20.
